Role Description

Red Majority is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented intern to support our team in executing fast-moving political and advocacy campaigns. If you’re eager to gain real-world experience in strategic communications, digital strategy, and creative production, this internship offers a front-row seat to the work that drives political impact.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed. You’ll assist with research, reporting, content development, and day-to-day team support — all while learning how strategy, storytelling, and execution come together in a modern political consulting firm.

This is a paid internship designed for someone looking to grow in the world of political strategy and digital consulting while contributing to meaningful, mission-driven work.

Requirements

Current undergraduate student with an interest in political strategy, communications, or public affairs

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Solid research abilities and a willingness to dive into new issue areas

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines

Team-oriented mindset with a positive, proactive attitude

Self-starter who takes initiative and looks for ways to support the team

Responsibilities

Conduct research to support client strategy, content development, and campaign planning

Assist with drafting social media content, email copy, and other digital communications

Help compile performance reports, media coverage, and internal updates

Support project management efforts by tracking timelines and organizing deliverables

Participate in team brainstorms and contribute ideas for creative and strategic initiatives

Assist in the development of presentations, proposals, and client-facing materials

Take on administrative tasks and team support as needed to keep projects moving smoothly
